Maintenance is being performed within the substation and throughout the city to increase grid capacity and stability |

All Summerside Electric customers will experience a power outage between 2:30am & 5:30am, then from 5:30am - 10:30am customers may experience intermittent power. What this means is that at 5:30am the power plant will be running at 100% capacity, but it is not able to generate enough electricity to support the whole city. Every attempt will be made to provide power to as many customers as possible, based on the resources available, with priority given to essential services. |
