Heritage Conservation Plan and Bylaw

The Summerside Heritage Review Task Force has completed its review of the Heritage Conservation Plan and Heritage Conservation Bylaw that were first adopted by Council in 2004. As a result of this review and comprehensive public planning process, the Task Force recommended Council adopt Heritage Conservation Plan 2022; Heritage Conservation Bylaw CS-37 and Heritage Conservation Evaluation Criteria and Programs.

The adoption of these documents by Council on October 17, 2022 will ensure that the rich heritage culture of Summerside will be conserved well into the future.
