SUMMERSIDE, PE – The City of Summerside is pleased to announce that one of Canada's most celebrated entertainers, Johnny Reid, will bring his Christmas with Johnny Reid tour to Credit Union Place on Saturday, December 5, 2026.
Known for his heartfelt performances and genuine connection with audiences, Reid's Christmas show will celebrate the spirit of the season through music, storytelling, and community.
"Hosting an artist of Johnny Reid's calibre is another exciting opportunity for Summerside to welcome visitors while providing residents with first-class entertainment close to home," said Mayor Dan Kutcher. "Events like this strengthen our community, support our local economy, and continue to establish Credit Union Place as one of Atlantic Canada's premier entertainment venues."
Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Reid has become one of Canada's most recognizable performers, earning multiple platinum-selling albums, national awards, and a loyal fan base across the country. His unique blend of country, soul, and pop has made him a favourite with audiences from coast to coast.
"I've been blessed to tour Canada many times, but there's something particularly special about sharing the Christmas season with the people of this great country," said Reid. "The holidays are my favourite time of year, and I can't wait to get back out on the road to share in the Christmas spirit. The tradition continues!"
Johnny Reid's Tartan Army Fan Club members will have access to a presale beginning Wednesday, August 5 at 10:00 AM. Members of the Ocean 100 Insiders Club will have access to a presale beginning Thursday, August 6 at 10:00 AM. General public tickets go on sale Friday, August 7 at 10:00 AM. Tickets will be available through creditunionplace.ca.
